A high-net-worth family in Chelsea, New York, seeks a dedicated, organized, and detail-oriented Personal Assistant with a strong educational background from a top-tier university and a genuine interest in philanthropy and the arts
This position requires close collaboration with the family office based in Israel and Europe, making fluency in additional languages, particularly Hebrew or French, a significant advantage
Strong communication skills, especially written, are essential, as the role involves regular correspondence and detailed reporting

- Calendar Management: Coordinate and manage the family’s complex schedule, including personal, professional, and social engagements, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Philanthropy Support: Assist with organizing philanthropic events, including research on potential partnerships.
- Arts and Cultural Engagement: Maintain awareness of cultural events, exhibitions, and art shows, handling reservations, and occasionally accompanying the family to events as needed.
- Research and Project Assistance: Conduct research on various topics, including educational initiatives, charitable organizations, and art-related projects that align with the family’s interests and values.
- Family Office Collaboration: Regularly communicate and coordinate with the family’s office overseas, ensuring seamless support for both domestic and international needs.
- Travel Coordination: Arrange domestic and international travel, including itineraries, accommodations, and special requirements
Ensure all travel plans align with the family’s preferences and maintain a high level of service. - Administrative Duties: Handle correspondence, manage expenses, prepare documents, and maintain records in a confidential and organized manner.
- Vendor and Staff Coordination: Liaise with household staff and outside vendors, ensuring seamless communication and execution of tasks
Coordinate household projects as needed. - Family Support: Assist with personal errands and any additional duties that may arise to support the family’s day-to-day life
Support other family members as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university such as Columbia, Yale, Harvard, Princeton, or another prestigious institution.
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a personal assistant or in a similar role supporting high-net-worth families or individuals.
- Must show longevity in all previous positions and roles held
- Excellent references from previous employers
- Demonstrated passion for philanthropy, cultural initiatives, and the arts.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential, as the role requires precise, professional, and effective correspondence and documentation.
- Fluency in Hebrew or French is a huge plus, given the collaborative needs with the family office in Israel and Europe
- Proactive and Discreet: Must be able to anticipate needs, work independently, and exercise discretion and confidentiality at all times.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally and work flexible hours to accommodate the family’s needs.
