We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Permanent Permit Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in the smooth running of our construction projects, ensuring all necessary permits are obtained and maintained throughout the life cycle of the project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry, with specific experience in permit coordination.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Permit Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Coordinating all aspects of permit applications for a wide range of construction projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and codes.
2. Liaising with various departments, external agencies, and stakeholders to gather necessary documentation and information for permit applications.
3. Utilizing software tools to manage permit applications, track project progress, and maintain accurate records.
4. Navigating complex permitting processes and regulations, and providing expert advice to project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
5. Monitoring permit statuses, renewals, and expirations, and taking necessary action to avoid project delays.
6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in permitting processes and regulations, and communicating these changes to relevant stakeholders.
7. Collaborating with project teams to identify potential permitting challenges and proactively developing solutions.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate for the Permanent Permit Coordinator role will possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in permit coordination.
2. Proficiency in construction management software.
3. Demonstrated understanding of permitting processes and regulations.
4. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various departments, external agencies, and stakeholders.
