Responsibilities:

• Assist in Evaluations: Collaborate with the Physical Therapist (PT) to conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities, functional limitations, and progress toward goals.
• Implement Treatment Plans: Under the supervision of a licensed PT, implement individualized treatment plans to address specific needs and goals, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Deliver various interventions, such as exercises, gait training, and modalities, to promote functional improvement, pain reduction, and enhanced mobility. Leverage the unique hydro-therapy pool to optimize patient outcomes.
• Collaborate: Work effectively with the interdisciplinary team, including physical therapists, nurses, and physicians, to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
• Document: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Licensure:
  • Valid state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Pennsylvania.
• Experience:
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Experience in a post-hospital rehabilitation setting is preferred.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and staff.
  • Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Schedule:

• Full-time: 40 hours per week.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday with a weekend day rotation twice per month.
