This position focuses on creating software solutions that power all aspects of the organization, leveraging a variety of programming languages and platforms with a focus on Perl. Prior experience with web-based software as well as cloud-based architecture is a plus. Candidates with strong coding principles will get top consideration. This position requires the capability to work on multiple projects independently with a positive attitude.
This is a contract opportunity located in the Wadsworth, Ohio area but may be worked remote by candidates out of the area.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, related field, or significant related industry experience
- 7+ years of application development experience in Perl
- Demonstrate solutions by developing code, documentation, and test plans
- Experience with a variety of web frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Bootstrap, Angular, React, etc.)
- A strong command of SQL and database technologies
- Excellent understanding of software design, architecture, and programming principles
- Be a persistent, creative problem solver
- Self-starter with strong self-management and decision-making skills
- A solid sense of ownership and teamwork
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- eCommerce development experience implementing large scale web services
- Experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Experience working with various programming languages
- Exposure to Elastic Search or similar platforms is a plus
- Prior experience working in an agile/lean environment
