9am - 5:30pm/ Full Time/ 40 Hours
Salary range - $15.35- $18.80 We're seeking a
Perioperative Services Technician for Emory University Hospital,
responsible for being a capable certified technician who cares about the quality of their work an ensuring the safety for all patients. This individual will: + Performs assigned patient care and observation duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse or LPN. + Performs duties involved with: cleaning, disinfection and trash removal, adherence to safety, security, and health guidelines, transporting patients, providing customer service by greeting and acknowledging patients, family members and staff. + Prepares operating room for administration of anesthesia; sets up stocks and maintains specialty carts. Maintains equipment and related supplies in aseptic condition. + Maintains stocks of supplies, drugs, and linens as needed before, during, and after surgeries. Performs other related duties as required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: + High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
