Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat periodontal diseases to help preserve teeth and gum health.
- Perform surgical procedures such as dental implants, bone grafting, and soft tissue grafting.
- Conduct root debridement procedures to remove damaged tissue.
- Provide preventative care and education to patients regarding oral hygiene practices.
- Collaborate with dental professionals to plan and execute treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all services rendered.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in Periodontics and participate in continuous professional development activities.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited program.
- Completion of a Periodontics residency program.
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Periodontics.
- Proficiency in performing dental implant surgeries, surgical grafting, and root debridement.
- Exceptional communication and patient management skills.
- Strong diagnostic skills and a proactive approach to treatment planning.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in Periodontics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- We are willing to assist in obtaining your Maryland dental license
