Performing Arts Graphic Designer and Administrative Assistant: The Performing Arts Administrative Assistant provides critical support to the American Heritage performing arts administration. Applicants must be efficient and comfortable with critical tasks and confidential information, including organizing and managing production budgets. They must have the ability to multi-task, while maintaining schedules and managing administrative support. They must be resourceful, a good problem solver, organized and able to assure completion of workload in a timely manner. This is a part-time, hourly position. About 10-15 hours per week.

- Professional interpersonal and communication skills; exceptional ability to listen, communicate, and work well with others, including when under pressure, uplifting team members
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
- Ability to receive multiple assignments and prioritize completion on a timetable
- Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency
- Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects promptly
- Expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel; and a willingness to learn other platforms (such as Ticket Tailor, Adobe inDesign, and Adobe Photoshop.)
Duties/Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Coordinate advertising and publicity for after-school performing arts events, including creating original content to be printed, posted on the web, or implemented social media campaigns
- Manage ticketing system for after-school performing arts events
- Attend all after-school performing arts events to manage front-of-house operations (including cash boxes, card readers, printed programs, ushering, reserved seating, etc.)
- Coordinate and create printed programs for after-school performing arts events
- Manage and process contractor payments and stipends
- Keep track of production budgets - and give program directors reports pre-, mid-, and post-production as needed
- Create production registrations for participants on Veracross and update prior to each season as needed
- Track participant registrations and eligibility
- Attend events coordination meetings and manage calendar events for performing arts events
- Attend performing arts coordination meetings and associated tasks - take notes of action items
- Manage communications for the performing arts department
- Other miscellaneous assignments
