Experience Required
- Mastery of Performance Engineering techniques and methodologies including – Ability to create key deliverables including Estimates, Performance Test Strategy, and Performance Engineering Test Plan
- Mastery of requirements process
- Advanced proven ability of IT testing leadership
- Mastery of testing automation approaches and benefits including test scripts development & execution.
- Mastery of test data management
- Mastery of environment management
- Advanced level of innovation including but not limited to: optimization, tuning and performance testing strategy
- Advanced Application Performance Management and Application Lifecycle Management concepts and their interrelationships.
- Proficient knowledge of project management (Work breakdown structure, MS Project, scheduling)
- Advanced resource management skills including but not limited to: project sourcing, task assignment/management
- Can apply departmental framework to projects and lead others in executing Performance Engineering strategies.
- Participates in the development and implementation of Performance Engineering processes.
- Ensures PE processes are followed on all projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop Performance Test Strategy and Plan for big performance programs. Perform Estimates, Track Budget, Coordinate across teams and across time-zones, ability to work extended hours depending on need of the project/programs. Perform LoadRunner scripting. Execute performance tests. Analyze and report the results. Tuning recommendations.
- Coordination with different teams
- Demonstrate knowledge of project management (Work breakdown structure, MS Project, scheduling)
- Understand requirements based and risk based testing
- Develops and implements PE processes
- Ensures PE processes are followed on all projects.
- Proficient Application Performance Management and Application Lifecycle Management concepts and their interrelationships.
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management (Work breakdown structure, MS Project, scheduling)
- Advanced resource management skills including but not limited to: project sourcing, task assignment/management
- Participates in the development and implementation of Performance Engineering processes.
- Ensuring creation of complex & re-usable test scenarios/test cases/test scripts and identifying test data requirements
- Optimization of test efforts not limited to optimization of test cases/test scenario / test scripts and execution process.
- Ensuring timely execution of test scenarios/test cases/test scripts and reporting the test results
- Expertise with Test Management Tools (i.e Client ALM/Quality Center) and Processes
