Job Description:
HPE/Aruba Engineering is looking for a seasoned, creative Performance Automation Engineer to focus on the performance of our SD-WAN products. You will create and monitor benchmarks that address customer use cases. Ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment where both individual drive and team collaboration are keys to success. You will play a meaningful role in performance analysis, monitoring, writing automation frameworks, and troubleshooting issues, having a direct impact on our products' success.
You Will Make Your Mark by:
- Enable complex performance testing and monitoring of Aruba's SD-WAN products to ensure system level objectives.
- Collaborate with Engineering to proactively troubleshoot performance related issues and provide input on implementation considerations to ensure better performance metrics.
- Automate and maintain methods to deploy new testbeds in various Cloud platforms for performance testing.
- Manage day-to-day operations to ensure the performance testbeds are up and running smoothly.
- Deploy new features and functionalities to performance testing frameworks.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, with minimum of five years of experience in relevant areas.
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals - algorithms and data structures, computational complexity, and excellent knowledge of programming.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience and knowledge in automation using Python and using PyTest to write unit-tests for new processes is a must.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and hands on knowledge of profiling/debugging/network traffic generating tools such as iperf, Nuttcp, Nmap, etc.
- Experience with wide-area-networking and network virtualization is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools and system administration using MySQL, Docker Swarm, Jenkins, etc.
- Familiarity with Cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) a definite asset.
- Good communication skills, written and verbal, along with ability to communicate complex procedures.
- A desire to constantly grow and learn new things. In this team you will be exposed to new technologies and new problems. Ability to assimilate new ideas and tackle tough problems as they arise will be the key to success.

Annual Salary: $99,500.00 - $228,000.00
