The Speech Pathologist provides therapeutic management of speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders including evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning.
Responsibilities:Essential Job Functions:The identification of essential functions below is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties that may be assigned to this position, nor does it restrict the duties which may be assigned to this position if such duties reasonably relate to the position.
- SPEECH - Provides therapeutic management of speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders including evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning 60%
- REHAB Counsels and educates patients families, and care givers 10%
- REHAB Completes appropriate documentation (assessments, progress notes, discharge summaries, care plans, and regulatory and third party payer information) in a timely manner according to department standards 20%
- REHAB - Participates in department planning, program development, in-services and Performance Improvement projects as directed, serving as department representative to interdisciplinary teams 10%
