Per Diem - Newborn Hearing Screener - Brooklyn Hospital Center

The Newborn Hearing Screener under the tutelage of licensed Audiologist is responsible for assessing all newborns for hearing using Otoaccoustics Emission and/or Algo hearing screeners. Documents the results in the Electronic Medical Records and log, as well as communicates to the Audiologist all missed patients for follow-up appointments and maintains a tracking system.




* Highs School Graduate or GED
* Experience in a healthcare setting – Preferred
* Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
* Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
* Proficiently read and write in English
* Legible handwriting
* Moderate data processing/typing skills.
* Ability to meet public, communicate clearly with people and other professionals.
