Position Overview:
This position is responsible for the functional support of the PeopleSoft Financial and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) platform v9.2. The focus of the PeopleSoft Functional Specialist will provide expertise in General Ledger (GL) and Commitment Controls (KK) modules and their interaction with the other modules. The Functional Specialist will assist the PeopleSoft support staff and will work directly with the business users of the application.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the system users directly and indirectly, reviewing requirements, providing design recommendations, configuring changes, testing delivered and custom functionality, analysis, and issue resolution
Assist with evaluating additional functionality and using current functionality in other ways to increase the benefits of the application, especially for the Accounting and budgeting processes
Assist teams with year-end activities, financial audit activities, monitoring, processing, troubleshooting, reporting, and reconciling Purchasing activity, especially as it interacts with General Ledger, Commitment Control, and other modules
Assist with other PeopleSoft modules and related applications, potentially including integration with other 3rd party systems
Work with technical resources to develop, test and document upgrades, enhancements, and modifications
Ensure project deliverables meet business requirements
Adherence to methodology, controls, and quality standards
Conduct end user training when needed and prepare user documentations
Ability to work independently with limited direction, and work in a team environment
