About the Role

BAGGU is looking for a full time People Operations Manager to join our growing People Ops Team (Human Resources).

As a member of People Ops you’ll be responsible for policy and strategy at the core of the employee experience for our team. In this position your focus will be on core HR functions, including benefits, performance management, development, and policy + compliance.

You’ll work closely with our Senior Director of People Ops to create, evolve and execute HR functions and policy so they form a bedrock of trust, professionalism, and delight in BAGGU’s relationship with its team at every level of the company.

In order to succeed you will need to be exceptionally organized and comfortable building professional relationships in a remote first environment.

Location and Working Hours

• This is a Hybrid Remote Role - based out of our San Francisco Dogpatch office. You will need to work from the office 1+ days per week.
• People Ops Works M-F 10-6 PT
• Travel - 4-5 overnight trips per year for store visits and support.

Responsibilities

• Manage and Evolve our Career Development Program and Management Coaching
• Owns On/Off boarding
• Benefits Strategy - including strategy, budgeting, enrollment and support
• Policy and Compliance
• HRIS and Employee Files
• Leave Management and Admin
• Harassment Policy and Process
• HR Admin

Requirements

• 5+ Years in HR including employees within California
• Exceptionally Organized
• Clear Written, and Verbal Communication

Nice to Haves

• Rippling HRIS
• Experience in HR within a Retail sales environment
• Familiarity with NY, IL, WA, OR and other states
• International experience (HR in Korea, Japan, Western Europe)
