ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced People Operations Manager to join PatientIQ. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be the first dedicated hire in our People department. As the People Operations Manager, you will have the extraordinary responsibility and opportunity to shape the strategic direction of our People function from the ground up. Reporting directly to the COO, you will play a critical role in building and scaling our HR practices, fostering a positive and inclusive company culture, and ensuring that our team members are supported and empowered to do their best work.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the overall HR strategy aligned with PatientIQ’s business goals, focusing on talent acquisition, employee engagement, organizational development, and performance management.
- Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent, including defining job roles, managing the interview process, and developing competitive compensation and benefits packages.
- Onboarding & Development: Design and implement a comprehensive onboarding process to ensure new hires are set up for success. Establish continuous learning and development programs to support employee growth.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership, providing guidance on HR policies, conflict resolution, and career development. Foster an inclusive and positive workplace culture.
- Performance Management: Develop and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and annual reviews, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Compliance: Ensure all HR practices are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations. Manage employee documentation and maintain accurate records.
- HR Systems & Analytics: Evaluate and implement HR systems and tools to streamline processes and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong track record in strategic HR leadership, preferably in a high-growth or startup environment.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and HR operations.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
