Summary
The People Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting and optimizing People Operations services, processes and practices by analyzing best practice delivery options, data and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. This role supports steady state operational delivery, participate and lead new process design, technology implementations and drive key projects aligned to priorities of the firm and department using existing system functionality and by suggesting new ways of working for the Human Resources department to drive efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives for implementation of new Human Resource systems projects.
- Work closely with Human Resources personnel and partner across functions to provide support on applicable HR system updates, testing, training, maintenance, documentation, and communication.
- Test new customizations, functional updates/fixes and/or new features.
- Coordinate with internal business owners to identify root causes of and solutions to data integrity and system performance issues.
- Maintain Human Resources system procedures and communicate changes in procedures to applicable Human Resources personnel.
- Answer end-user questions and ensures issues are tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner. Operate using case management system and other tracking mechanisms as required.
- Assist with mitigating potential data integrity issues through report development, auditing and uploads into HR databases.
- Develop and modify new and/or existing reports/queries, including but not limited to, gathering requirements from end-users, document requirements, and testing of new reports. Must be comfortable operating in Excel, Tableau and other relevant tools and formats.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate. Target Salary Range
$78,000 – $92,000, if located in IllinoisQualifications

Education and/or Experience:
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources information systems working with Workday and/or other integrated Human Resources systems and vendors.
- Report or Query Writing and Excel experience
- Candidate will have demonstrated technical and analytical skills within his/her professional background
- Experience working with benefits administration systems, specifically benefit enrollment portals, helping trouble shoot benefit related system questions, etc.
- Candidate must have excellent communication skills and comfortable interacting with all levels of an organization to resolve queries, report status of projects and coordinate across teams exerting influence without authority
- Demonstrated experience creating new HR processes, implementation of new HR platforms and programs, and managing complex projects with collaboration across varied stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with external vendors with effective supplier delivery monitoring and continuous improvement
- Must have continuous improvement mindset and be comfortable proposing new ways of working even when success is not guaranteed
Preferred:
- Workday implementation experience
