Position Overview
The People & Culture Manager at Emancipet is responsible for developing and implementing innovative programs and initiatives that promote a positive and engaging workplace culture across all Emancipet locations, including remote employees. This role is essential in helping employees understand their value in achieving Emancipet's mission. The People & Culture Manager will organize and collaborate with a culture committee, provide recommendations to senior leaders, support new hires, and participate in annual employee surveys.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ideas and programs to build a positive culture within the company.
- Coordinate and collaborate with a culture committee that meets regularly to brainstorm and evaluate cultural initiatives.
- Provide recommendations to senior leaders on programs, activities, and ideas to engage employees and promote a positive work environment.
- Support new hires to ensure they understand payroll systems, benefits, and other essential company processes.
- Participate in annual employee surveys to measure engagement as well as cultural health and recommend improvements.
- Meet weekly, coordinate with, and serve as liaison between Emancipet and outside HR services.
- Create and facilitate activities and events that promote team bonding and a sense of community among employees.
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to promote a culture of openness and inclusion.
- Utilize data from surveys and feedback to continuously improve cultural initiatives.
- Ensure alignment of culture initiatives with Emancipet’s mission and values.
- Provide training and resources to managers and employees on cultural best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of equivalent professional experience in Communications, Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
- Experience in culture building or human resources is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
- Willingness to learn new software and tools as needed.
- Outstanding communication and writing skills.
- Outgoing, proactive, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary Range - $60,000 to $70,000
