Profiles will include location, number of beds, patient rations, and other unique details to assist recruiting professional in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff. Data Collection: Unit Information: Location: Building: Acute Hospital Floor: 3rd floor Order Detail: Facility Department Number: 670 Discipline: Newborn Nursery Quantity: Target Start Date: Shift: Call Requirements: no call requirements Weekends: rotating General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds 40 beds Number of Staff approx. 40 staff with RNS and support staff Type of staff: o Day Shift 1 charge, 5 RNs, 1 unit clerk, typically 7 staff during the week M-F, 5-6 on weekends o Night Shift - 1 charge, 4 RNs, typically 5 staff during the week M-F, 4 on weekends Patient Ratios 1:5, 1:6 Type of equipment - EMR CPN and Meditech Permanent Positions on Unit Avaliable? (Y/N) yes, nights Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. 1 year Newborn or NICU experience Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Greater than 2 years experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): circumcisions Best personality Fit: Multi-tasker, can move at fast pace, can change directions quickly Team orientated unit- team player is a must Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
