PEDIATRIC OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (PART-TIME)
Our center provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA),Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy for children and adolescentswith Autism Spectrum Disorders, communication and motor delays, learningdisabilities, and other social, language and cognitive deficits.
·We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who has apassion for working with the pediatric population including and is willing togrow and move into a leadership position that supervises other fellow OTs inthe center. Must be a licensed OT with experience in treating motor deficitsand sensory dysregulation.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to thefollowing:
§Evaluation of the client’s current therapeutic,rehabilitative, and functional status.
§Completing necessary treatment planning requirementsfor insurance companies.
§Development and implementation of the occupationaltreatment plan of care.
§Re-evaluating client progress and revising the planof care as necessary.
§Collaboration with multidisciplinary team whenapplicable.
§Submitting accurate clinical notes regarding patientevaluation and attainment of goals.
§Monitor client for reactions to treatment or changesin condition, discussing changes with the patient/family/caregiver andreporting changes as necessary.
§Assist the caregivers/families, other professionalsin providing continuity of care.
§Provide supervision for clinical students and/orvolunteers.
§Assisting in supporting department growth throughdeveloping and conducting in-service training programs.
§Assisting in developing strategic and long-rangeplans for the program. May also be required to participate in case reviews,medical consultation staffing, and school multidisciplinary team/staffing.
§Maintainingrespectful and professional relationships with staff in both the administrativedepartments and the clinical department.
§Maintainrespectful and professional relationships with clients and their families.
§Maintainconfidentiality about clients, families, and center by abiding by all HIPPAregulations.
Requirements
§Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy orequivalent.
§Currently registered and licensed by the State of TXor eligible for licensure.
§Pediatric experience preferred.

Schedule:
Hoursof Operation:Monday 9:00am-6:00pm, Tuesday-Thursday 8:45am-6:00pm, Friday 8:45am-5:00pm.
StartingPart-Time (10-12 billable hours) with possibility for greater hours as enrollment continues.
