Position Summary
We are seeking an Pediatric Dentist who is passionate about patient care, treatment planning, and working in a fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to treat a diverse patient population, work with a flexible schedule, and benefit from in-house continuing education on advanced dental techniques, including laser surgery, implants, Invisalign, and practice management. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental exams for infants, children, and adolescents, assessing oral health, growth, and potential issues like tooth decay and misalignment.
- Provide preventive care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants, while educating parents on proper oral hygiene and diet for children.
- Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, and pulp therapy, and offer interceptive orthodontic treatments to guide proper development.
- Manage pediatric dental emergencies, such as toothaches or trauma, and educate caregivers on at-home care for emergencies.
- Utilize child-friendly communication and behavior management strategies, administering sedation or anesthesia when necessary to ensure patient comfort.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and refer patients to specialists for complex treatments beyond pediatric dentistry.
- Participate in community outreach and education programs to promote pediatric oral health and preventative care.

- Ability to explain complex medical information clearly to both professionals and the general public.

- Capable of providing guidance and training to professional and technical staff within the field.

- Innovative mindset to develop and implement improvements in processes and procedures.
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Completed CODA-accredited pediatric dentistry residency
- Board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric dentistry
- Active state licensure
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with children and parents
