Job Description
Join the Design Automation group in Irvine, California responsible for developing custom Process Design Kits for Cadence and ADS. The Design Automation Staff Engineer will be responsible for;
- PDK Development, including developing PCells and DRC
- Design Flow Automation using Cadence Skill
- Supporting designers with layout issues
- Interface with our internal fabs
- Design Management using Cliosoft
Job Requirements:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering
- A minimum of 6 years of job experience (or Bachelors and 8 years experience)
- Cadence PDK development and SKILL programming experience a plus
- Linux Shell scripting
- Good interpersonal communication and analytical skills
- Highly motivated with excellent team spirit, strong ownership and openness

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $110,600 - $210,600 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
