PDC Staff Administrative Assistant
GENERAL SUMMARY
Perform complex and demanding administrative work using administrative skills coupled with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Provide administrative assistance to the Administrative Director, Chief Financial Offer, and staff with minimal instructions or supervision. Strive to maintain a pleasant working atmosphere within the office.
FOUR DIAMOND SERVICE AGREEMENT
All Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to Customer Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by Pechanga Resort and Casino.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide administrative support to the Administrative Director, Chief Financial Officer, and staff
• Ability to interact in a professional manner with executives and staff of all PDC businesses and related entities including the Resort & Casino, Tribal Council, Gaming Commission, Tribal Members and outside companies
• Answer the front desk phone and direct calls to appropriate destination for action, including responding to requests and inquiries.
• Order and pick-up meals for business meetings.
• Scheduling of PDC Staff Conference Rooms usage for staff
• Maintain PDC Staff Conference Rooms with pens and paper; monitor office supplies and kitchen inventory
• Assist in coordinating with in-house and outside catering to reserve facilities and meals for meetings and events
• Processing of transactional entries and bank deposits for PDC businesses and related entities
• Ability to draft correspondence with minimal instruction or notes
• Perform all other tasks as assigned by Administrative Director and or Chief Financial Officer
• Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work after hours when necessary even on short notice
ACCOUNTABILITY: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND GUIDELINES

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION: A High School diploma or higher and three to five years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required to successfully perform this job.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: This position requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. This position also requires the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Furthermore, this position also requires the ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: This position requires the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. This position also requires the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY: This position requires the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. This position also requires the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
• Qualify to obtain class “A” gaming license
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Must be able to type 40+ WPM
• Must maintain confidentiality.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access)
• Excellent organization and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to communicate and deliver specific information over the phone or via email.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Self starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to work flexible schedules to accommodate 24-hour operation
