We work with some of the biggest names in commercial and military electronic systems, providing a fast-paced and innovative work environment where the work is never boring. You'll have the chance to put your skills to the test, repairing and assembling of a variety of complex circuit boards.
We're looking for candidates with 10+ years of experience in repair and assembly of PCB’s.
Overview of your day-to-day
- Inspect and perform work in accordance with IPC-A610 and other quality standards as needed
- Coordinate with the Inspector as needed
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, BOM, PCB Drawings, mechanical, production and assembly drawings
- Follow verbal assembly instructions given by the Production Manager or Project Manager
- Modify products in accordance with design drawings and Manufacturer Rework Instructions (MRI)
- Repair electronic boards with through-hole and Surface-Mount Technology components using SMT repair station
- Construct cables from schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, or wiring lists using soldering and crimping skillsas required
- Wire Interface Test Adapters using wire lists and or schematics
What qualifies you?
We’re looking for a professional with leadership skills and a knack for solving problems. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- 10+ years of experience in the repair and assembly of a variety of complex circuit boards at the component level including experience in the following specific tasks: soldering PCBs (SMT, Through-Hole, BGA components…) using PCB component designators, PCB Drawings, BOM, and silkscreens on bare PCB; use of tools such as solder iron, scope for small reworks, heaters, hot air blowers, micro precision soldering iron, hot plate etc.
- Preferred, but not required, to also be able to use wire crimper; constructing cables from schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, or wiring lists, torque wrench, caliper, pin extraction tool etc.
- Experience working in an ESD-controlled environment
- Ability to work with a minimum level of supervision
- Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment dealing with stressful and emotional situations
- Ability to work in a team environment with flexibility
- Lifting heavy equipment if needed (25 lbs+)
