As a Permanent Payroll Tax Coordinator full-time! This position is a critical role within the finance department and will require you to work closely with other team members to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all payroll tax processes. You will be a key player in managing the financial health of the company and will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the company's success. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires 5+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of payroll tax activities, including the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll tax payments and filings.
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger for payroll tax accounts.
Coordinate multi-state payroll tax registrations and compliance.
Manage treasury funding for payroll tax liabilities.
Execute month-end and year-end payroll tax reconciliations and reporting.
Process ACH payments for payroll taxes.
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
Stay current with changes in payroll tax laws and regulations and ensure company compliance.
Provide assistance in payroll tax audits.
Assist in the development and implementation of payroll tax policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in payroll tax, with a focus on multi-state payroll tax.
CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification is required.
Strong knowledge of income tax, payroll tax, and general ledger.
Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Experience in treasury funding and ACH payment processing.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
