About the Role
Addison Group is partnering with our client to hire a Payroll Supervisor to oversee day-to-day payroll operations and support departmental growth initiatives. This position is ideal for a payroll professional seeking an opportunity to lead a dedicated team and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced, growing organization.
Compensation: $85,000 - $90,000 annually
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 5 payroll professionals, providing mentorship and ensuring accurate payroll processing.
- Process payroll for senior leadership and oversee payroll for approximately 200 employees.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to generate accurate reports and complete ad hoc projects.
- Drive system enhancement projects to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Develop and maintain detailed payroll Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Respond promptly and professionally to payroll-related inquiries and employee concerns.
- Stay informed on Federal, State, and Local payroll laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 5 years in payroll operations with 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and advanced Excel skills.
- Education: Associate's degree or a payroll certification is required.
- Preferred: Familiarity with payroll tax regulations and experience in a larger corporate environment.
