### Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Representative to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with the Lead Payroll Analyst to ensure that all payrolls are processed, audited, and delivered to employees accurately and on time. This position is vital to maintaining high levels of customer service and satisfaction. Your responsibilities will also include compliance, analysis, and reconciliation of payroll. Our current systems include Workday for US Payroll Processing and Time and Attendance, and ADP Workforce Now and Teams for Canada Payrolls.
### Scope
- Position Type: Individual Contributor, no direct reports
- Reporting To: Senior Payroll Manager
### Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent education and experience
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting time and payroll systems in a large corporate environment
- Working knowledge of Canadian wage & hour laws, garnishments, and payroll taxes at both federal and provincial levels
- Preferred experience with Workday HCM/Payroll/Time Tracking and ADP Workforce Now
- American Payroll Association training (CPP certification is an advantage)

- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex payroll situations and make sound recommendations.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.

- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with MS Office applications, payroll software, and report writing tools.
- Initiative: Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels within and outside the company.
- Time Management: Good time management skills to meet continuous critical deadlines.
