Client Overview:
Our client is a large and rapidly growing organization in the sustainable chemical/oil industry looking to add a Payroll Specialist. This company is looking for an experienced professional who can work in a team just as effectively as they can work independently. Past experience working with both union and non-union payroll is a big plus.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$30/hr – $35/hr
Position Overview:
Payroll Specialist applicants must have strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Our client is looking for a Payroll Specialist with 2+ years of full-cycle payroll processing.
Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist:
- Analyzing all aspects of the company’s payroll and benefits processes.
- Union and Non-Union Payroll processing
- Assisting with time and attendance.
- Maintaining accurate records for internal and external purposes.
- Heavy data entry and analysis.
- Checking timesheets for accuracies.
- Reporting and analysis for multiple departments.
Qualifications for the Payroll Specialist:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Excel skills.
Education Requirements:
- Associate’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
