Payroll Specialist- Hybrid - VHC Health

Job Description

Purpose & Scope:

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for assisting with the administration of payroll for VHC Health and subsidiaries through Workday's payroll module including bi-weekly payroll processing, employee assistance for payroll related questions and payroll related disbursements. Payroll Specialist will function as back up to the Payroll Manager and be able to process payroll independently if required.

Education:

High School Diploma required.

Bachelors in accounting or in a related field is preferred.

Experience:

Proven experience as a payroll specialist with a strong Workday background is required.

One year of experience in automated time & attendance system is preferred.

Certification/Licensure:

None required

This position will predominantly be remote, with the expectation of coming into the office for team building events or at critical times of the year.
