• Due to an vacancy, they are looking to bring on a Payroll Specialist!
• The position is temporary, but for the right candidate can turn permanent.
• Pay: $25-29 depending on experience.
• Schedule is Monday – Friday 8:00a-5:00p.

Overview of the Payroll Specialist role:

• Responsible for assisting in the processing, monitoring, and reviewing of the bi-weekly payroll system.
• Review, batch, and process timecards.
• Assist in the review of employee change forms.
• Update and maintain accurate payroll files and records.
• Review and distribute payroll reports as needed.
• Upload payroll and accruals to the financial system.
• Assist with payroll disbursements including taxes, retirement plans, etc.

Preferred Qualifications for the Payroll Specialist:

• 3-5 years of payroll specialist experience
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Extremely organized, able to multi-task effectively and attentive to detail
• Must be detail oriented with the ability to work independently
• Fast and accurate data entry required
