Payroll Specialist
A well-established private family office located in Fort Worth is seeking a Payroll Specialist. This position will be responsible for all matters pertaining to the firm’s payroll and benefit plans. This position will report to the Direct of Human Resources and work within the firm’s broader Human Resources structure. This is a fully in-office position and the firm is willing to pay up to $75k plus an excellent set of benefits.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Performs all payroll-related functions including but not limited to processing new hires, termination status changes, tax changes, wage garnishments, deductions, and direct deposit.

Reviews and verifies payroll data in a timely manner, calculates overtime and other pay premiums, and enters payroll data.

Oversees maintenance of payroll records and files including but not limited to sick time and vacation and other accrued leave.

Collaborate with Human Resources on administration of 401(k) and other benefit plans.

Responds to routine inquiries concerning payroll deductions and accruals, wage garnishments, preparation of manual checks, and employment verifications.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of 2-5 years of payroll experience. Associates degree accepted for candidates with 5+ years of payroll experience.

Experience with ADP WorkforceNow preferred

Microsoft Excel skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills

Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)
