BaneCare Management is currently seeking Full Time Payroll Specialist to join our team! Our Payroll Specialist role would be based out of our Brighton House facility 16 hours/week and our corporate office 24 hours/week, conveniently located in Braintree, MA. The Payroll Specialist will oversee and supervise payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.

Requirements for Payroll Specialist:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience managing payroll in a multi-entity environment
- Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes
- Proficient with Excel, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with acquisition integration and implementing payroll systems
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) a plus
Job Duties of Payroll Specialist:
- Manages the workflow of payroll implementation and operations to ensure optimal efficiency and maintain high standards of customer service
- Oversee all payroll functions including establishing and maintaining employee data in payroll system, maintaining accruals for PTO balances, 401K employer match and workers' compensation
- Ensure policies, procedures and practices are documented and maintained for the payroll team
- Conduct thorough payroll review and resolve discrepancies each pay period to achieve zero error rate
- Responsible for new entity set-up for state and unemployment tax accounts
- Assist in the resolution of highly complex and escalated payroll issues
- Review quarterly payroll reports and year end activities including W2s and ACA reporting
- Manage and develop others to set objectives and measure performance
- Complete special payroll projects
- Will act as a back up as necessary to process payroll for the individual entities
- Own payroll integration projects for all new company acquisitions
