Position Summary:
The Payroll Manager, LT Corp is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for LT Corp and its family of operating companies. The Payroll Manager collaborates across the HR team for accurate and compliant time keeping and resolving all payroll questions are HR, leaders and employees. The Payroll Manager partners with the HRIS Manager and Benefits Manager to ensure payroll processing, time keeping, taxes, pay data and integrations are accurate and compliant. The Payroll Manager leads a Payroll Specialist and is a key collaborative position for the HR team and the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for timely, accurate and compliant payroll processing with multiple pay structures for operating companies, ensuring accuracy and on time completion in the payroll system.
- Partner with the Payroll Specialist, HRIS Manager and all HR Partners to ensure payroll data is accurate, timely, and questions or issues for payroll are resolved. Review and verify entered data to ensure accuracy in payroll.
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll and maintenance of all related records.
- Own the payroll process that is managed through the Time and Attendance system. Train HR or Supervisors on the system. Assist HR Partners with questions or issues with the system. Partner with the HRIS Manager on system or data & reporting issues.
- Prepare standard payroll reports as needed for audits or compliance.
- Ensure all payroll transactions comply with company policy and federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and local laws related to payroll and taxes, including obtaining state and UI tax IDs for new employees or entities. Remain aware of potential changes being proposed to payroll laws at any level.

- Build strong relationships with the HR leadership team and HR Partners across LT Corp companies. Demonstrate a growth mindset for learning and in understanding how policies and processes are applied and administered in alignment with our Core Values and The Way We Lead.
- Support projects in HR team including HRIS and Benefits.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive U.S. payroll experience, including large company experience, preferably in a complex or multiple operating company manufacturing environment.
- Experience with multiple payroll processing systems including Paycor required.
- Experience transitioning from one payroll system to another required.

Education and Certification Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in business or HR preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
Travel
Limited travel may be required to company or customer sites.
