Job Details

This role is critical to our organization as you will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing for our multi-state operations. You will also be the go-to person for all payroll-related inquiries and will work closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth and efficient payroll operations. Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the entire payroll process for multi-state operations.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
Supervise and mentor payroll team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Manage the administration of garnishments, benefits, and taxes in compliance with federal and state laws.
Oversee the processing of 401K contributions and manage related audits.
Review and approve timecards for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Act as a point of contact for all payroll-related inquiries, providing excellent customer service to employees and management.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations and accurate financial reporting.
Stay up-to-date with current regulations, best practices, and industry trends in payroll processing.

Qualifications:

3+ years experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role, preferably within multi-state operations.
Solid understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws.
Proficiency in payroll software, particularly ADP Payroll.
Experience with garnishments, benefits administration, and 401K contributions management.
Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a team.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of FMLA and its impact on payroll is a plus.
