Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management:
- Lead and manage the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- General Ledger Payroll Posting:
- Oversee payroll entries and ensure accurate posting to the General Ledger.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Compliance with State Payroll Laws:
- Stay updated on state payroll regulations and ensure company compliance.
- Implement necessary changes to policies and procedures based on regulatory updates.
- Automotive Dealership Coordination:
- Collaborate with dealership departments to streamline payroll processes.
- Leverage dealership experience to enhance payroll operations (preferred but not required).
- Detail-Oriented Execution:
- Maintain meticulous records and documentation.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll management.
- Proficient in General Ledger payroll posting.
- In-depth knowledge of state payroll laws and regulations.
- Experience in the automotive dealership industry is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
