Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to join their team. This individual will play a critical role in managing payroll processes, overseeing HR and payroll activities, and ensuring timely and accurate payroll for their staff. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a proven ability to manage complex payroll systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare & Run Payroll Processes:
  • Bi-weekly payroll for non-exempt employees
  • Monthly payroll for exempt staff
• Supervise HR/Payroll Coordinator:
  • Oversee posting of positions, hiring, and on-boarding for employees
  • Provide guidance and support to the HR/Payroll Coordinator
• Communicate & Initiate Plans:
  • Coordinate payroll schedules and plans for vacations and leaves
  • Address and communicate any missed or upcoming payroll needs
• Manage Peak Payroll Times:
  • Handle payroll for approximately 450-500 staff members
  • Manage 600+ additional during peak periods

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in payroll management
• Experience with payroll software and systems
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities
