We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Payroll Manager to join our client's team. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of payroll processing for our multi-entity, multi-state organization. This position will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the provision of excellent service to our employees. The role involves working with high volume payroll and requires a deep understanding of payroll reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the entire payroll function for our multi-entity, multi-state organization, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Manage and resolve complex payroll issues, providing exceptional service to our employees.
- Implement and maintain payroll best practices to improve efficiency and provide superior payroll auditing.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as HR and Accounting, to improve payroll procedures and ensure alignment with company policies.
- Manage payroll reporting and analysis, providing key insights to senior management.
- Oversee and ensure the accuracy of payroll-related financial data.
- Manage and ensure compliance with payroll-related regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the property management and restaurant divisions to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Utilize UKG for payroll processing and management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the payroll team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high volume, multi-state, multi-entity payroll management role.
- Extensive experience with payroll processing, reporting, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in the restaurant and property management industries preferred.
- Proficiency with UKG or similar payroll software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred.
