Payroll Coordinator - Contract / Permanent - Philadelphia, PA
Proclinical is working alongside research institution who is looking for a payroll coordinator to provide administrative.
Primary Responsibilities:This role involves a variety of administrative and financial activities, including managing payroll transactions, preparing salary/effort spreadsheets, and supporting grants management. The position requires a proactive individual with strong financial management skills and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

- Associate Degree and 3 years to 5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Experience within a College or University setting is desirable.
- Sponsored projects experience is a plus.
- Prepare, maintain, and manage salary/effort spreadsheets and payroll transactions in Workday.
- Assist grants managers with proposals, progress reports, subcontract agreements, and financial reporting.
- Review monthly reports to identify and correct errors, and reconcile fiscal year activity.
- Handle appointment and reappointment processes for post-doctoral researchers and faculty.
- Manage purchasing card transactions, purchase supplies, and submit accounts payable requests.
- Assist with travel scheduling and reimbursements for faculty and staff.
- Maintain internal and external websites and listservs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
