About the Role
As a Payroll Coordinator, the ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, take initiative and prioritize daily tasks. A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and process weekly and bi-weekly multistate and Canada payroll for union and non-union employees.
- Collect and verify employee timekeeping data.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant government regulations including federal, state, and local payroll wage and hour laws. Review and ensure multistate tax jurisdictions are properly coded.
- Record and maintain payroll transaction records and handle discrepancies.
- Oversee maintenance of payroll records and files, including but not limited to, sick time, vacation time and other accrued leave.
- Respond to routine inquiries concerning payroll deductions and accruals, wage garnishments, and child support payments.
- Oversee and maintains ADP payroll system. Stay updated on system upgrades and enhancements to optimize payroll processes and ensure data accuracy.
- Reconcile payroll records and resolve discrepancies or errors.
- Prepare weekly payroll reports for tax liabilities, employees benefit deductions, and 401K.
- Assist with special projects and perform additional duties assigned by management.
- Provide outstanding customer service daily for any payroll related issues.

- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Resolves issues quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to multitask.
