About the Job
Job Schedule: Candidate needs to be local and able and comfortable with coming onsite 1-2 times a week for trainings (Wednesday will be one of the onsite days).
- Payroll Operation responsibilities
Skills:
4 or More Years relevant work experience, specifically Corporate Payroll experience required
have ADP experience in employee data entry changes, new hires and terminations, loading various payment and manual check files,
understand standard ADP reports, Masterfile ADP register etc.
understand quarterly tax adjustments and repayments.
Have ability to adhere to Payroll deadlines.
Have ability to maintains all documents involved in the processing of a given pay period and taxation records in a secure and confidential manner.
ADP experience with Vantage would be great to have (but not required)
Duties
Reply to Payroll Team shared mailbox.
Analyze the data change files for completeness and reasonableness before processing.
Analyze various payment files; calculate and enter retro, load files into ADP.
Process void and reissue payments.
Audit data changes processed by Payroll against payroll register.
Audit exception and regular payments for tax and benefits accuracy, audit LOA payments.
Special projects:
PA W2C - tax change to tax-exempt for dependent care, gathering the pay data, processing the quarterly adjustments, maintain associated files for Team audit.
Audit quarterly and year-end wage and tax register and related reports, identify needed adjustments and make prior quarter adjustments.
Participates and preforms year-end activities to ensure year-end forms (W-2) and report are generated timely and accuracy.
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; CPP certification preferred. Minimum; associate's degree.
