Rock Valley Physical Therapy has an exciting opportunity for a part-time (20-29 hrs./week) Payroll Assistant position at our Admin Office in Moline, IL.
The Payroll Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the payroll department. They will assist with payroll processing, data entry, and maintaining payroll records. This position requires the ability to work accurately and efficiently while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Process bi-monthly payroll for employees
- Review new hires, process terminations, and employee changes in payroll system
- Ensure accuracy of employee timecards
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll records and privacy of sensitive employee information
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Controller
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- Prior experience in payroll processing and data entry
- Understanding of payroll concepts like taxes, deductions, and gross pay.
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of payroll software and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
