Responsibilities
Data Entry: Accurately input payroll information, including employee hours, deductions, and bonuses.
Record Maintenance: Keep meticulous records of employee attendance, earnings, and tax information.
Compliance: Ensure payroll processing complies with federal and state regulations.
Communication: Liaise with the HR department and employees to address payroll concerns and inquiries.
Audit Support: Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
Reporting: Generate payroll reports for management and provide insights on any discrepancies.
Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Previous experience in payroll or a related administrative position is highly desired.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with payroll software is advantageous.
Attention to Detail: Strong ability to process data accurately and efficiently.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational Skills: Proven ability to organize tasks, prioritize effectively, and multi-task.
Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
Hours- Monday through Friday 8am-5pm; Availability to work some weekends during monthly commissions.
