We are seeking a Payroll Assistant to join our fast-paced Payroll team located in our Carlsbad, CA office. This position is responsible for assisting in the recording of internal payroll records, auditing and reconciling payroll-to-benefits billings, making payroll health savings account and 401k deduction contribution uploads, audit and reconciliation duties. This position also engages in data and document gathering as required and is responsible for assisting with timely and accurate processing of employee payroll and insurance audits.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- College-level coursework in accounting or finance is the minimum formal education required for this position. A combination of equivalent work experience and training in the field may be qualifying.
- 2 years experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping
- Two or more years' in-house payroll and accounting experience
- Computer literacy (Intermediate Word, Excel, and Outlook) required
- Specific software literacy - Oracle Cloud and Adobe Acrobat - a plus.
