Customers Bank is looking for a Payroll Analyst to join our Team! The Payroll Analyst will assist in processing payroll for approximately 600+ employees in multiple states as the company expands its footprint. This position will offer the opportunity to work as an integral part of our Human Resources department, concentrating on Compensation and Payroll solutions. Working closely with the Payroll Manager in all aspects of the biweekly payroll to ensure timely and accurate delivery. The ideal candidate must possess strong attention to detail, have previous experience processing Workday payroll, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Must be able to commute to the Langhorne, PA office on a hybrid basis.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the daily activities associated with the biweekly payroll processing.
- Assist in maintaining tax changes, garnishments, and other changes within Workday, supported through ADP Smart Compliance task(s).
- Verify timecards for accuracy and ensure timely approvals. Assist with time off inquiries within Workday.
- Assist with processing payments including bonus payments and other types of compensation activities.
- Assist with employee tax and regulatory inquiries regarding all types of compensation.
- Work closely with Payroll Manger to resolve pay related inquiries.
- Assist in auditing biweekly payroll to maintain integrity.
- Run biweekly reports, prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as needed.
- Support the day-to-day administration of all aspects of the company's equity compensation plans including the releases of NQs/ISOs/RSUs/ESPP and others including UBS administration, backing up the Payroll Manager.
- Build and maintain employee confidence and trust by setting up process for promptly responding to requests while protecting the confidentiality of payroll operations.
- Additional duties and special projects as assigned.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Payroll specific role, supporting a multi-state Payroll.
- Experience working with payroll applications and service providers (Workday payroll, preferred and/or ADP Smart Compliance)
- Experience/knowledge with stock/equity administration is a plus.
- Strong understanding of HR & Payroll related issues.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel skills.
- Detail oriented, deadline driven and work well under pressure with a high degree of accuracy.
- Must have outstanding work ethic and exhibit a roll-up your sleeves work attitude.
- Ability to comfortably interact with employees of all levels of experience and seniority, across the organization and uses discretion when dealing with sensitive employee payroll matters.
- Ability to work closely with the payroll vendors to ensure payroll deadlines, objectives, quality of service and operational performance are met.
- Flexibility in terms of willingness to meet varied and changing demands.
