Payroll Administrator
Our construction company client is seeking an individual to join their team as they enter another busy season of 2024!
As a construction firm they do employ union employees so someone with union payroll experience is preferred at this time.
The core responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Administer and manage the end-to-end payroll process, including data input, calculations, and timely processing of payroll for all employees
- Verify and reconcile payroll data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable laws
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to gather and maintain accurate employee information, such as timesheets, salary adjustments, and deductions
- Generate and distribute payroll reports, payslips, and related documents to employees on a regular basis
- Address employee inquiries related to payroll, resolve any issues or discrepancies, and provide exceptional customer service
- Stay updated with changes in payroll regulations and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
- Assist in the preparation and submission of payroll-related tax filings and other mandatory reports
Experience Sought:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, systems, and regulations.
- Proficiency in using payroll software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with employees and resolve payroll-related inquiries.
Work Model:
Our client does operate in a hybrid work model, with in-office hours on payroll processing days (Mon&Tues) with flexibility on the other days of the week as needed.
Compensation:
Ideal pay range is $70,000 - $80,000 per year
