Job Summary:
Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to be a part of our team. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our organization. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of payroll procedures, compliance with regulations, and be proficient in payroll software. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing:
- Execute the end-to-end payroll process, including data entry, verification, and distribution of paychecks.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Process and reconcile employee benefits, deductions, and taxes.
- Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the payroll system.
- Process new hires, terminations, promotions, and other employment changes.
- Verify timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies.
- Compliance:
- Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Prepare and submit required reports, such as tax filings and government surveys.
- Communication:
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Problem Resolution:
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues.
- Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and concerns from employees.
- Recordkeeping:
- Maintain accurate and organized payroll records for auditing purposes.
- Prepare and maintain various reports related to payroll activities.
- Miscellaneous:
- Manage open enrollment of health insurance
- Sort and distribute weekly documents received from job site
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
- ComputerEase software experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Continuous process improvement mentality.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
