Highlights of Responsibilities:

• Support Payroll department, processing of timesheets, and payroll system administration

• Develop capability to perform full payroll duties as required for backup/interim purposes

• Cross train with other departments within Accounting (Accounts Payable, General Ledger) to support and backup as needed

• Review and analyze financials to prepare journal entries and account reconciliation

• Support implementation of Unanet accounting system
• Collaborate with others within the team and the larger finance organization on special projects
• Provide support for audit activities, directly communicating with various auditors to answer their inquiries

Requirements:

• Ability to learn and apply knowledge to a diverse set activities within the accounting department

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 0-5 years of experience
• Experience in Microsoft Excel

• Unanet experience preferred but not required

• Experience in accounting related position in government contracting

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:
• Sitting for long periods
• Ambulate throughout an office
• Ambulate between several buildings
