Client Overview:

Our client, a technology company, is looking to hire a Payroll Accountant in Florham Park, NJ. This company is continuing to grow and add to the team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$25 – $35/hr depending on experience

Position Overview:

Our client is looking for a Payroll Accountant to manage our payroll processes and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. In this Payroll Accountant role, you will oversee payroll accounting functions, maintain accurate financial records, and collaborate with HR and finance teams to support our employees’ needs.

Responsibilities of the Payroll Accountant:

• Process and manage payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and taxation
• Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance

Qualifications for the Payroll Accountant:

• Proven experience in payroll accounting (3+ years preferred)
• Analytical and very detail-oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree is required
