Payroll Accountant - Addison Group

Role: Payroll Accountant- Contract with Opportunity

Location: Bellevue, WA

Pay Rate: $30 - $40/hour

Our Bellevue-based client is looking for a Payroll Accountant. Candidate must have 2+ years of accounting experience, prior use of Excel for reconciliations, and Bachelor's Degree. The Payroll Accountant role consists of journal entries and reconciliations, maintaining employee records in SAP, and assisting with month end payroll accounting close.

This role does not actually process payroll, but does the Accounting surrounding payroll.

Responsibilities:

•  Maintaining employee payroll records in SAP which includes auditing data inputs and reconciling and researching discrepancies
•  Processing manual, non-standard or correction transactions. Auditing and reconciling pay output. Researching discrepancies.
• Inputting information for Off-cycle payroll runs]
• Assisting with the month end payroll accounting close which includes creating journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts
• Auditing payroll personnel files for compliance with company policy, procedures and authorizations
• Tax corrections and W4 tax withholdings
