About the Job
We are seeking a Payment and Currency Specialist for the Payment Operations Department.
The organizational functional aspects of the role's span of control and authority are supporting a team comprised of Payment Operations, Item Processing Operations, Instant Payments, Currency Management Operations, and Network Settlement Operations. The Payment and Currency Specialist role is responsible for supporting Payment and Currency and Settlement Operations including ensuring compliance with Credit Human policies, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) rules, The Clearing House (TCH) standards and guidelines, Regulation E rules, FMS Green book guidelines, Federal Reserve regulations and OFAC requirements. The role is also accountable for supporting the implementation and maintenance of the Instant Payments networks which include FedNow and RTP and aiding in the development of effective procedures and performance matrix that support policy, quality standards and service requirements and ensuring compliance with the approved policy, procedures, and processes within the functional area

Highlights: Salary Range: $63,167 - $68,507
- Aid in ensuring ACH EFTs are setup correctly and maintenance is performed as needed
- Seek and arrange outside training for self to ensure professional development and register for Accredited ACH Professional training to maintain AAP certification
- Implement and test Remit Plus upgrades and Window patches
- Make every effort to ensure Fraud is identified and reported to the Instant Payment network promptly and appropriately
Experience:
Required
- 3 years of experience with a financial institution
- 2 years of Payment Operations and ACH experience (including ACH origination) with a financial institution of comparable size
- Customer service focus in a team environment
Preferred
- Management experience
Education:
Required
- High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred
- Financial Institution work experience
Licenses & Certifications:
Required
- Accredited ACH Professional or must obtain within 18 months of hire

- Knowledge of accounting; Debits/Credits/General Ledger
- Knowledge of payment processing systems, currency management, and financial regulations including Reg E
- Knowledge of Nacha, Greenbook, and Federal Reserve Regulations as they relate to check and ACH processing
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm
