Make a Difference
+ The Transportation Aide and Patient Lift Team Member works individually and/or in a team of no less than two.
+ Performs and assists with transportation and/or patient lifts and other patient handling maneuvers, as delegated by the Manager or Director, in collaboration with a Registered Nurse
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
+ Healthcare experience as a Transporter, Certified Nursing Assistant, Patient Support Tech, Emergency Medical Tech, etc.
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent.
+ Understanding of patient focused care.
+ Relationship skills.
+ Proficiency in oral and written communication.
+ Ability to critically think, work semi-independently, multi-task, and work under pressure.
+ Ability to demonstrate competence in body mechanics and proper lifting technique.
Additional Qualifications
+ Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
+ Must have the ability to walk, climb/descend stairs, push, pull, bend, squat, and kneel without restrictions.
+ Must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 75 lbs.
