Patient Transporter - Central Transport/Express Services - Part Time - Days - ProMedica Toledo Hospital (TH)

Our 794-bed hospital is staffed by more than 4,800 professional healthcare employees who serve a 27-county area throughout northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. Position Summary:

The patient transporter works in various departments of the hospital by transporting patients to their required destinations.  The ideal candidate will have interpersonal skills and compassion to be a successful patient transporter.  This position is ideal for those candidates who enjoy a job with physicality and meeting new people.  If you are interested we invite you to apply! 

• High School diploma or GED.
• Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR Certification. Must be (and maintain) CPR certification within 30 days of CPR expiration.
• Must be able to move about hospital and between workstations.
• Must be able to understand directions, communicate and respond to inquiries.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to frequently move, lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
